Tree Transplant

Can I Transfer my Trees to a Different Location?

You absolutely can. The process is known as transplanting. The protection of a tree is frequently desired by homeowners who place a high value on the tree to the point where they don't want to see it harmed or destroyed in any way. You could also decide that a large tree would be better suited for another area, perhaps one that offers more shade or more aesthetic interest, or you'd like to relocate it. There are a few different approaches to transplanting trees that will secure their survival and you can feel confident we will transplant your tree with success!

How does transplanting work?

The majority of trees are able to be transplanted and will adjust to their new environments over time provided that appropriate care are given to their pre-transplantation watering, fertilization, and root cutting. It is important to dig rootballs of an acceptable size during the dormant season and adequately water the tree both before and after transplanting in order to minimize shock. Since a tree's transition time into its new environment can be anywhere from three to five years or even more, continuing to provide it with the necessary care after it has been relocated is essential to the tree's survival.
